Marriott International opens The Surat Marriott Hotel in Gujarat

Surat: Greenville-based Auro Hotels has announced the debut of its second international hotel with the opening of the Surat Marriott Hotel in Surat, Gujarat.
The newly transformed 209-room Surat Marriott Hotel is upscale-luxury hotel. Over 30 years ago, Surat embraced this hotel with it became the first 5-star hotel in the state of Gujarat(previously known as Taj – Gateway Hotel). Since then the hotel has become an integral part of the city’s business and social hub.
The hotel has views of the city and Tapi River and amenities including recharging stations, high-speed wireless Internet, mini bar, in-room dining services, a 24-hour gym with fitness trainers, spa and salon, outdoor swimming oasis, business center, over 44,000 square feet of flexible meeting and event space, the M-Club, designed for business traveler and exclusively made for the Marriott Bonvoy Elite members.
The Surat Marriott hotel has announced to introduce, at Vintage Asia, world-famous Teppanyaki cuisine to the food connoisseurs of Surat. Table 101, the all-day dining restaurant, offers culinary delights from India, the west and the east along with visual treats with its live kitchen. At the SBC (Surat Baking Company), guests will enjoy a freshly brewed latte, Americano or a double shot of espresso, along with delicious sweets, specialty baked goods and gourmet sandwiches to go. Travelers and locals alike can indulge in one of these three distinct dining venues with renowned Chefs bringing their individual skills and combining classic dishes with global cuisines.
