Ahmedabad: Light to moderate rain has lashed several parts of Ahmedabad this afternoon putting the Garba organizers in tizzy on the seventh Norta day of Navratri.

Rain has taken place in both eastern and western parts of the city.

Areas like Ghatlodiya, SG highway, Anandnagar, Shivrajnani, Shyamal, Raipur, Khamasa, Manipur, Paldi etc have seen rain.

However across the state not much rain has taken place till 3 pm and there was no likelihood of it either as per met department.
But the rain in the city especially in some of the low lying areas might make the garba event arenas wet and damp.

The rain had played villain during the first three days but had taken a break after that.
