Shah Alam violence: 28 including 24 cops and 3 scribes treated at LG hospital

Ahmedabad: According to AMC run LG hospital, total 28 persons injured in yesterday’s mob violence in Shah Alam area of city have been given medical treatment here.
Of them 19 were hospitalized as indoor patients while 9 were treated in OPD. Of those 19 hospitalized, most were kept for observation and medical investigation including CT scan. All treatment and investigations were offered for free of cost as per the government order.
Of those 28 treated, 24 are police persons while 3 are media persons and 1 is from common public. Most of those injured suffered head, chest, hand and leg injuries.
As per opinion of surgeons, all barring 4 are discharged. Among those four, three are police men while one is from general public who has suffered brain hemorrhage but is stable.
