Gandhinagar: A temporary non-critical isolation hospital with capacity to accommodate more than 2,000 patients will be set up at Gujarat University’s Samras hostel in Ahemdabad, the government said.

Non critical isolation hospitals will also be set up at RC technical college hostel, Sola Bhagwat hostel, Umiya girls hostel, HK hostel, Saurashtra Patidar hostel etc places.

Such temporary hospitals will offer quarantine, 24-hour medical treatment, meal etc facilities.

A meeting in this regard was held by government officials at Samras hostel in presence of Resident Collector Harshad Vora.

The district collector administration has started efforts to create in-total more than 7,000 – capacity non critical isolation hospitals.
