Covid19 treatment kicks off at Cancer hospital in Asarwa Civil campus

Gandhinagar: A cancer hospital in Asarwa based Civil hospital medicity campus has been made functional as Covid Centre from today. Gujarat Cancer Research Institute (GCRI) run hospital has 262 bed facility.
According to Shashank Pandya, Director of GCRI, the hospital has 150 doctors, 150 nursing staff, 50 technicians, 50 para medical staff and 120 others on duty.
At present 9 Covid19 patients are admitted in one ward.
The hospital has also two ICCU wards with 20 bed facility and 22 ventilators.
