Ahmedabad: Private construction giant L&T has flown down 100 Odisha origin skillful ‘tunneling crew’ workers for ‘Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project’ from Bhubneshwar to Ahmedabad by air through in three batches, to complete a 4.38 km underground section of metro project assigned to L&T which also involves underground metro stations at Shahpur and Gheekanta. The workers had returned to Odisha due to lock down imposed by the government to curb Covid-19 infection spread.
