AMTS bus slips into ditch near Vaishnodevi Circle; four injured

SG Highway: An AMTS bus route number 501 from Ujala Circle to Vaishno Devi circle slipped into rain water-filled ditch near Vaishnodevi Circle in Ahmedabad. The road is witnessing flyover works at present and barricades have been erected there. Primary cause of incident is found as brake failure. Four persons including driver had leg and hand injuries. They have been taken to Sola civil hospital for medical care. According to bus driver, five to six persons were crossing road near Vaishnodevi circle. As brake could not work, he timely divertes bus to a side where road construction work was underway.
