Vadodara – Mumbai expressway project: CR Patil holds meeting with Gadkari in Delhi

Surat: Lok Sabha member of Navsari and Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil during his visit to Delhi today called on union Road and Transport minister Nitin Gadkari. Patil on this meeting said, he made representation over some issues pertaining to progress of Vadodara – Mumbai expressway project. Patil said, farm land acquisition for the project at Navsari and Valsad in South Gujarat had stalled. Gadkari held a video conference in this regard which was also attended by Valsad Lok Sabha member KC Patel, MLA Kanu Desai, Bahrat Patel, Arvind Patel, district collector and farmer leaders. The meeting concluded that price of land conveyed by district collector would be paid for sure. With this, relocation of 50 to 60 per cent trees was also assured.
