Ram Janmabhumi Mandir fund collection in Gujarat: Rs. 18.61 crore from Morari Bapu, 11 crore from Govindbhai Dholakia, 5 crore from Kabutarwala

Ahmedabad: As per the mentions in the speech of deputy chief minister Nitin Patel today at Vishwa Hindu Parishad Gujarat headquarters here, Ram kathakar Morari Bapu has announced contribution of Rs. 18.61 crore for construction of a grand Ram mandir in Ayodhya. Surat based Ram Krushna Diamond company’s owner Govindbhai Dholakia has handed over Rs. 11 crore cheque as his contribution to Janmabhumi mandir construction. Surat based chemical company owner Mahesh Kabutarwala (Jayantibhai Colourtex) has handed over Rs. 5 crore cheque as contribution. Surat based builder Lavji Badshah has committed Rs. 1 crore, Ahmedabad based Shankarbhai Patel has committed Rs. 51 lakh, Durgesh Patel has committed Rs. 21 lakh, Raja Cotton fame Dilipbhai will donate Rs. 21 lakh. BJP MLA Babu Jamna Patel has committed Rs. 21 lakh. Gujarat BJP vice president Gordhan Zadafia will contribute Rs. 5 lakh. Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel in his speech announced Rs. 1.11 lakh contribution from his side. Nitin Patel said, Gujarat will contribute highest for construction of Ram Mandir among all states. He said the State is leading in many aspects and will lead in total sum of contribution collected for construction of Ram Mandir. When history will be written, Gujarat will prove number one in collection of contributions for Ram Mandir, Patel asserted. Yesterday SGVP Swaminarayan Gurukul had handed over Rs. 51 lakh cheque as its contribution to Ram Mandir construction. Vishwa Hindu Parishad is leading the fund collection drive which kicked off on Makarsankranti (January 14) nationwide.
