Ahmedabad to become Sports City capable to host Olympic games; Naranpura to have 18 acre Sports Complex: Shah

Sabarmati: Naranpura area of Ahmedabad will have a Sports complex spread over 18 acre land. It will be part of Sardar Patel Sports Enclave. This announcement was made by former Naranpura MLA and present Gandhinagar Lok Sabha constituency representative Amit Shah. He said the global level sports infrastructure in the city will be suitable to host commonwealth, Asiad and even Olympic games. He said, if some city wants to host Olympic, it needs to have all required spots infrastructure in 50 km area. Naranpura based proposed Sports Complex and Motera based proposed Sardar Patel Sports Enclave will provide such sports infrastructure. Shah said 3,000 persons will get training at upcoming Sports enclave. Shah said it was then Chief Minister Narendra Modi’s dream to make Ahmedabad, a Sports city. DeshGujarat
