Gandhinagar: As on 5 June 2021 Surendranagar district registered highest wastage of Covaxin vaccine doses in Gujarat at 19.5 per cent followed by 15.2 per cent wastage in Botad and 14.9 per cent in Surat district plus city. Morbi has registered least wastage of Covaxin at 3.3 per cent.

As on 1st June, among all districts, highest 89 per cent vaccination in 45+ age group was achieved in Gandhinagar Municipal Corporation (GMC) area. Botad, Surat and Surendranagar registered least percentages of Covid-19 vaccination at 32, 34 and 36% respectively.
