“Love Jihad” cases: Cleric summoned, accused sent to remand, two more complaints

Gandhinagar: Imran Ansari who has been nabbed by Vapi police in anti – Love Jihad case has been sent by local court to seven days remand (police custody).
In another Love Jihad case in Vadodara, Police has collected evidences of abortion of victim Hindu girl from Vitas hospital in Chakli circle area of city. Accused Samir Kureshi had wedded victim Hindu girl through Nikah ceremony conducted by Kazi Islamuddin. Police has summoned Kazi for questioning. Accused Kureshi had taken victim Hind girl to Pyramid hotel on Karjan highway repeatedly. Police has recovered entry register from the hotel.
In another case of Love Jihad, a 16-year old Hindu girl resident of Pardi village of Kamrej taluka in Surat district has been kidnapped by on Naeem Yasin Ansari, resident of Badhad village of Gorakhpur district in Uttar Pradesh. Naeem was working in GIDC estate at Pipodra in Mangrol taluka. According to a police complaint filed by victim girl’s parents, their daughter and Naeem both were missing since June 19.
In one more incident, a Muslim person from Kolav in South Gujarat, Firozekhan Umarkhan Pathan allegedly attacked a Hindu youth Punit Patel (31) over Punit’s court marriage with Hinal. Pathan allegedly used abusive words and attacked Punit wish sharp weapon. He also gave death threat over Punit’s marriage with Hinal, a Hindu girl who was previously “friend” of Pathan. Pardi police has booked Pathan.
