CIMS – Hebatpur rail over bridge linking Thaltej to Sola to complete in four months: AMC

Ahmedabad: A new four-lane railway overbridge which is under construction at Ahmedabad – Viramgam broad-gauge railway line connecting CIMS Hospital Sola to 100-feet Hebatpur road of Thaltej area will be ready for the public within three to four months, as per a note released by Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today.
The total length of the bridge is 727 metres, out of which 90 % construction of the approach bridge on AMC sides is completed. The two components of 54 metres length in the railway portion are designed in thru-truss of open web steel structure mode which is being proof-checked by the Railway department and IIT Bombay.
The remaining construction work of the railway portion will be completed as per traffic work order approved by the Railway. The estimated cost of this construction work is Rs 59,04,10,200, the AMC note said. DeshGujarat
