Ahmedabad: The construction of sport-complexes at the Sabarmati Riverfront is about to complete. AMC (Amdavad Municipal Corporation) has undertaken the construction of two sports complexes: one near Shahpur on East and another near NID on west-bank of the riverfront. The sports-complexes that are being constructed at a cost of more than Rs 25 crores will have four cricket pitches, four tennis courts and four basket-ball pitches. It will have amenities such as skate-board, synthetic jogging track, open-gym for youngsters and play-area for kids.
