Somnath Mandir to reopen for full hours for devotees

Prabhas Patan: Somnath Temple will re-open for the devotees from 17th July onwards for full period of 6 AM to 10 PM with adherence to Covid-19 guidelines in place.
Shri Somnath Trust today announced that it has decided to allow entry for darshan and aarti both to the devotees from 17th July onwards along with strictly following Covid-19 guidelines. In addition to Somnath temple, entry will also be allowed in Shri Somnath Trust managed other temples like Ahilyabai Temple, Bhalka Temple, Shri Ram Temple, Shri Geeta Temple, Laxminarayan temple and Bhidiya temple for darshan and aarti both.
Standing in steady position will not be allowed during the time of Aarti performed thrice a day and darshan will be allowed by proceeding in a queue during the aarti in the temple. Standing will not be allowed under Sabha mandap or Nritya Mandap and during the Aarti. The devotees will require to pass through the temple while having darshan. Wearing the mask, sanitizing hands and temperature check will be mandatory for the entry. DeshGujarat
