Bhavnagar: Bhavnagar will get Rs. 32. 11 crore ‘Bhavnagar Cancer Care & Research Institute’ at Sir Takhtasinhji Hospital on Tuesday, July 20. The institute is an initiative of Ahmedabad based ‘Gujarat Cancer & Research Institute’ which had signed Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the State government for this cause.

The other development works that are to be dedicated in presence of Chief Minister and Deputy Chief Minister in Bhavnagar on July 20 include allotment of 292 affordable houses constructed at a cost of Rs. 18.88 crore, inauguration of 5 MLD capacity water treatment plant, pond beautification at Nari and inauguration of a CC road.
