Wall tiles units of Morbi closes for 30 days
August 30, 2021
Morbi: Around 180 wall tiles units will remain closed for 30 days from today in Morbi due to price-hike in raw-materials and gases.
The decision was made in a recent meeting of the Morbi Wall tiles association. The recent price-hike of Rs 5 by the gas company cannot be settled in the international and domestic market, as per the president of the association.
He added that the factories have to suffer losses due to sudden price-hikes. They decided that the units will be restarted after a month after balancing demand and supply with a 10 to 15 percent price hike in tiles. DeshGujarat
