New CM of Gujarat to shift to official residence in Gandhinagar in Navratri

Gandhinagar: New Chief Minister of Gujarat Bhupendra Patel who took oath on September 13 will enter the official residence of Chief Minister in capital Gandhinagar on October 7. This will be the first day of Navratri which is considered auspicious day. The Chief Minister at present lives in his bungalow in Shilaj area of Ahmeadabad city in his constituency area. Previous Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has vacated the official residence of Chief Minister and started living in his own house in home town Rajkot. Rupani will return to Gandhinagar at appropriate time when a bungalow allotted to him in capacity of former Chief Minister will be ready. The same bungalow was earlier used by late former Chief Minister Keshubhai Patel. Bhupendra Patel has started using the office portion of Chief Minister’s bungalow in Gandhinagar already. The residential unit however will be used at proper mahurat on the first day of Navratri. DeshGujarat
