Mundra drug case: Afghan national Mohammad Khan on 3 days remand

Gandhinagar: The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has obtained a 3-day remand on Monday of the fourth accused Mohammad Khan, an Afghan National in the Mundra port drug case.
The accused Mohammad Khan was arrested in Delhi after a lockout notice issued by NIA following investigation in 2988 kg drug haul case worth Rs 21,000 crores. The agency obtained his transit bail from Patiala court and produced him before the special NIA court in Ahmedabad on Monday. The special prosecutor in this case Amit Nair had sought a 4-day remand. However, the special judge Subhada Baxi granted 3-day custodial interrogation of the accused Mohammad Khan.
The probe agency had obtained 10-day custodial interrogation of the 3 accused last week who are owners of Aashi trading company namely Machvaram Sudhakar, Govind Raju Durga Kurna Vaishali and Rajkumar P. DeshGujarat
