Gandhinagar: State Education Minister Jitu Vaghani declared that the birth anniversary of renowned educationist Late Gijubhai Badheka on 15th November will be celebrated as ‘Bal Varta Din’ in Gujarat.

It was proposed by renowned humorist Sairam Dave and trustees of Dakshinamurti Vidhyalay to Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel. The state government gave a positive response and decided to celebrate Late Gijubhai Badheka’s birth anniversary as Bal Varta Din at Dakshinamurti Vidhyalay in Bhavnagar, as per a press release.

Sairam Dave said that the development of children through Bal Git and Varta proposed by Gijubhai Badheka a hundred years ago is also included in the new education policy and he is glad for the same.

A meeting was arranged in the presence of educationalists of Bhavnagar. State education minister Jitu Vaghani will officially declare about the ‘Bal Varta Din’ between 7.30 am and 9 am on 15th November, as per the press release. Moreover, Sairam Dave will present Bal Varta, it stated. DeshGujarat
