A youth missing from Asaram Ashram in Ahmedabad; His brother contacts Police

Ahmedabad: Asaram Ashram here is once again in the news. A youth namely Vijay Yadav(27) from Andhra Pradesh has gone missing from Ashram according to his relatives.
According to Vijay’s brother, Vijay had left home with his friends to attend a shibir in Asaram Ashram in Ahmedabad. There were total 10 persons together in journey to participate in shibir. They had left Hyderabad on 2nd November and reached Ahmedabad ashram on 3rd November. While 9 persons returned to Hyderabad, Vijay didn’t return.
One of persons accompanying Vijay, when inquired told Vijay’s brother that Vijay had cancelled his return ticket and decided to stay for a week longer at Ahmedabad Ahram. Vijay’s phone is not reachable since November 12.
Vijay’s brother reached Ashram today from Hyderabad and asked Ashram persons for CCTV footage check. However he was denied favor and told that his brother was an adult boy and Ashram was not responsible for his whereabouts. Vijay’s brother later called police to intervene.
Vijay’s brother said, his brother was apparently brainwashed and the atmosphere at their home had changed after he started visiting Asaram Ashram frequently in last two years. Sometime he would stay at Ashram only which was located nearby his office in Hyderabad.
