Gandhinagar: In the christian calendar year of 2022, there are 51 Shub Muhurat for wedding for Gujarati Hindus in accordance with Vikram Samvat calendar. Highest 10 Shubh Muhurats are in the month of January, among which January 20th has been considered as the best available Muhurat.

The wedding Muhurats in year 2022 will start from January 16 after kamurta period which ends with Uttarayana – Makar Sankranti – kite flying festival.

As many as 40 Muhurats are in the first half of the year during January to July while in the later half, 11 Muhurats are available in the months of November-December. Booking for marriage halls and party plots have started for Mahurat days. However if Covid-19 pandemic situation worsens, then weddings will take place in the presence of limited persons.
