Jamnagar: Jamanagar Police has attached property worth Rs 8 crore belonging to notorious criminal Jayesh Patel (Jaysukh Ranpariya) and his syndicate on Tuesday after getting permission from the state government.
Jamnagar ASP Nitish Pandey informed that they have attached the property to destroy the organized crime syndicates. The police had registered offenses against the crime syndicate of Jayesh Patel under GujCTOC and IPC sections.
The police got evidence of the illegal properties that had been extorted from the victims and given to members of the syndicate during investigation. Then they prepared a list of the properties and sent a proposal to the home ministry for getting permission to attach those properties.
