AMC launches Sanjivani Tele Medicine Service – 14499

Ahmedabad: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has started ‘Sanjivani Tele Medicine’ service today for covid positive patients and those who are in home isolation. The service will start today and operate on round the clock basis. The citizens who are covid positive and in need of medical guidance or advises can dial the number 14499 and receive tele consultation from doctors.

Making this announcement today a note by AMC stated that the decision to launch Sanjivani Tele Medicine service was taken after a meeting with State Health minister and guardian minister as per their instruction. A team of doctors at Help Centre will over a telephone converse with patient, inquire about the details and give advise and guidance over covid-19 treatment.

AMC already operates Sanjivani Corona Ghar Sewa with other medical teams that visit covid patients at home and check their required vitals to prescribe medicines and also advise over need of hospitalization. DeshGujarat
