Gandhinagar: The minimum temperatures were appreciably above normal (3.1°C to 5.0°C) at isolated places over Saurashtra & Kutch and below normal (-1.6°C to -3.0°C) at many places over Gujarat region, as per an all India weather forecast bulletin of India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The gradual rise in minimum temperatures by 2-3°C are very likely over Gujarat during next 2 days and fall thereafter as per weather forecast for next 5 days, states IMD.
IMD has stated in a weather warning that the strong winds (speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) are very likely over Northeast Arabian Sea and along & off north Gujarat coast on 2nd February. Fishermen are advised not to venture in these areas, it adds. DeshGujarat
