I wish to join politics, will make an announcement by April third week: Naresh Patel

Rajkot: Saurashtra based Khodaldham Trust’s founder president Naresh Patel who believes he enjoys great support of Leuva Patidar community of this region today said it is his wish to enter the politics.
Patel’s wish is no secret. Ever since he held the first press conference to announce his Khodaldham Mandir project way back in 2010, his statements, activities and engagements had political touches.
Patel had earlier said that he would announce his decision on whether to join politics or not, and which party he should join by the end of March this year. After returning from his Delhi visit which he claimed was just a business related visit, Patel had told media persons in Gujarat that the opposition must be strong.
Various news reports had claimed that Patel was eyeing Rajya Sabha berth through AAP from Punjab. However his name was not mentioned in the list.
Patel claims he has an invitation from all three parties- BJP, Congress and AAP. He today told media persons that surveys are being conducted upto village level through various committees of Khodaldham Trust on whether he should join politics or not. Patel said he was getting mixed responses. He said while one set of feedback suggests the present position of heading Khodaldham Trust is superior than politics, while the other set of feedback suggests that he should enter politics.
