President Kovind likely to visit Dwarka, Madhavpur in April 2022

Dwarka: The President of India Shri Ram Nath Kovind is likely to visit pilgrim town Dwarka in Gujarat on April 10.
Though there’s no official announcement, it is learnt that the President would be in Dwarka on April 10th which is also Ram Navmi festival day. He will visit Madhavpur (Ghed) based traditional fair in Porbandar district later and kick off the festivities there in presence of Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and other ministers.
Chief Ministers of 8 States from North East part of India are also likely to visit the fair as it marks wedding of Shri Krishna and Rukmani. While Shri Krishna had made Dwarka in Gujarat his home, Rukmani was from North East.
According to the district collector, helipads are created in Madhavpur for landing of five helicopters due to VVIP arrivals. The fair will have 200 food and handicraft stalls.
As per the district administration, Mandap ropan ceremony will take place on Ram Navmi on April 10. Varnagi procession will take place from 10th to 12th April from Nij Mandir to Brahm kund and return at 12.30 am. Mamoru will arrive from Kadachh village on 13th at 11.30 am. Samaiyu will take place at 2.00 pm at Madhavrayji mandir chowk. On 13th April at 4.00 pm, Jaan procession will depart to Madhuvan. A couple will return to Nij Mandir on 14 April. DeshGujarat
