Janjati Manch calls for Kshristi Adhikar Rally to be denied permission for being a threat to culture
May 27, 2022
Tapi: The Janjati Suraksha Manch held demonstrations and submitted a memorandum to the collector of Tapi district for the Adivasi Christi Adhikar Rally and Mega Convention to be denied permission to be held on June 6.
This Mega Convention, if granted permission, is to protest against demand from Hindu Scheduled Caste organizations that are government beneficiaries and have been demanding the delisting of those members of the Hindu scheduled castes who have converted to other religions. However, the Janjati Suraksha Manch has alleged that this Mega-convention is a ploy to create friction, inequality, insecurity and enmity between communities.
In their memorandum, the Janjati Suraksha Manch has stated that any such events being held by Samast Christi Samaj-Bharat or so called organizations against delisting should be denied permission. DeshGujarat
