National Conference of School Education Ministers kicks off in Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: The 2-day ‘National Conference of School Education Ministers’ has started today at Mahatma Mandir in Gandhinagar.

The department of school education and literacy of the Ministry of Education of the central government and the education department of the Government of Gujarat have jointly organized the conference on 1st and 2nd June.

Union Education minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Delhi’s deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia, education ministers of various Sates are present in the conference. NEP (National Education Policy) 2020 steering committee chairman K Kasturirangan is also going to attend the conference.

The details about Vidhya Samiksha Kendra were presented on the first day of the conference. The attendees visited the Vidhya Samiksha Kendra in four groups during the day. They will also visit BISAG in Gandhinagar, National Forensic University, International Automobile Centre of Excellence. They will also have a courtesy meeting with CM Bhupendra Patel at night.

The conference will be formally held on 2nd June at Mahatma Mandir which will include inauguration, discussions, presentations and so on. It will cover points such as National Education Policy 2020, best schemes of the educational sector in-force in Gujarat, NEP implementation, National Education Technology Forum (NETF), National Digital Education Architecture (NDEAR) and so on.
