June 03, 2022
Dahod: The Dahod MP, Jashwantsinh Bhabhor, has convinced the state government to approve a grant of Rs 12 crore for Bhil Sewa Mandal, a society working in the area of education, for undertaking restoration work of the dilapidated buildings of schools run by the society.
The Bhil Seva Mandal was founded by Thakkar Bapa in Dahod in 1923. The buildings of many of the schools run by this 100-yr-old society are falling apart and are badly in need of repairs and maintenance.
Especially buildings of the Mandal’s 20 Ashram schools, which offer primary and basic education, have nearly collapsed and using them is no longer safe. The trustees of this society had met Bhabhor seeking immediate intervention and assistance from higher authorities. Bhabhor has succeeded in convincing the state government to release a grant of Rs 12 crore to restore the buildings of these 20 Ashram schools run by the Mandal. DeshGujarat.
