Dahod: Dahod district collector has rejected the application for transferring the land of Sanjeli church into Fakira farmhouse, following the demand of All India United Christian Front. The land of Sanjeli church in Dahod was usurped and an application for transferring it into Fakira farmhouse was filed by Iqbal Fakira. The Christian bodies from Gujarat, Rajasthan and Madhya Pradesh had united to save the church land. All India United Christian Front runs a legal fight for last 4 years to prevent the transferring of land. The leaders of the front approached the State Revenue minister Rajendra Trivedi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel for the same. They demanded to reject the application filed by Iqbal Fakira. Accordingly the district collector has given orders for the same. This has triggered jubilation among Christian leaders in the district. DeshGujarat
