ABVP seeks scrapping of Vir Das’s Vadodara show

Vadodara: Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP), the student wing of the ruling BJP, has submitted a memorandum to the Deputy Municipal Commissioner seeking the cancellation of comedian Vir Das’s show scheduled in Vadodara city at the Sir Sayaji Nagar Gruh on June 17.
ABVP says while India is living proof of the slogan ‘Service is Religion’, Vir Das peddles anti-India and anti-temples propaganda as comedy which cannot be tolerated.
The student organization has also threatened to start an agitation if the performance is not cancelled. DeshGujarat.
