Dudhsagar Dairy to pay highest Rs 321 crore hike in milk procurement prices in year

Mehsana: The Annual General Meeting of Mehsana’s Dudhsagar Dairy was held at the Dairy’s hall at which chairman, Ashok Chowdhury, announced that the Dairy will pay Rs 321 crore more in milk procurement prices this year, which is the highest increase ever seen in the history of the Dairy.
After unanimously approving the accounts, the chairman disclosed the savings achieved by the Dairy’s governing body and recounted the benefits that have accrued to the milk producers. The 14% hike in milk procurement prices will benefit 5.5 lakh milk producers of the Mehsana, Gandhinagar, and Patan districts.
Representatives of 10 milk-producing societies and individual milk producers supplying the most milk to the Dairy were felicitated at the AGM. DeshGujarat.
