Heavy rains shift to North Gujarat; Banaskantha rain soaked

Total 213 talukas of the state witnessed rainfall between 6 am to 6 pm today.

The talukas of Banaskantha namely Tharad, Suigam, Lakhani, Palanpur, Wav; and Vadgam and Khergam in Navsari witnessed over 50 mm rainfall today. Tharad taluka of Banaskantha witnessed the highest rainfall which is 149 mm between 6 am to 12 pm. There is water logging on roads and farms due to heavy rain in Tharad. There is knee-high water logging on the road from Naradevi Mandir to Maketyard in Tharad.

There is water logging in Palanpur civil hospital due to heavy rain. The Baradpura and low-lying areas of Palanpur witnesses water logging after heavy rainfall.
