Bhavina Patel wins Gold in Commonwealth Games, Sonal Patel wins Bronze

Gandhnagar: Daughter of Gujarat, 35-year old Bhavina Patel has won a gold medal in the women’s singles class 3-5 at the Commonwealth Games. Bhavina had won a silver medal at Tokyo Paralympics. Bhavina hails from Mahesana district of North Gujarat.
Another daughter of Gujarat, 34-year-old Sonalben Manubhai Patel has also given India a medal with bronze win in women’s singles class 3-5. She is participating in wheelchair class 3 para table tennis. She is making her Paralympic debut in Tokyo Paralympic 2020. She is from Viramgam in Gujarat.

The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi has extended best wishes to the Bhavina Patel for clinching the prestigious Gold Medal in Para Table Tennis at Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022.
The Prime Minister said;
