7 TP schemes of Ahmedabad, Surat and Bhavnagar get approval

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has approved 7 town planning (TP) schemes of Ahmedabad, Surat, and Bhavnagar.

The seven TP schemes approved by CM Patel includes 4 preliminary TP schemes of Surat, 1 preliminary TP scheme of Ahmedabad and Bhavnagar each, and 1 draft TP scheme of Bavla.

CM Patel has approved Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC) TP scheme no 27 Bhatar-Majura, scheme no 51 Dabholi, scheme no 50 Ved-Katargam, Surat Urban Development Authority (SUDA) preliminary TP scheme no 85 Sarthana-Pasodara-Laskana. CM Patel has approved Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) preliminary TP scheme no 81 Lambha-Laxmipura-1 and Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation preliminary TP scheme no 7 Adhewada. He had also approved Bavla municipality Draft TP scheme no 4 (Bavla) of Ahmedabad district.

Total 64.49 hectares land will be available due to 4 preliminary TP schemes of Surat. Similarly, 19.68 hectares land will be available in Ahmedabad and 11.32 hectares in Bhavnagar. 54.88 hectares land will be available in Bavla.

For the public amenities, 26.21 hectares land will be available in Surat, 3.63 hectares in Ahmedabad, 2.21 hectares in Bhavnagar, and 11.26 hectares in Bavla. The land to build around 26 thousand EWS accommodations will be available due to approval of 6 preliminary TP schemes and 1 draft TP scheme. DeshGujarat
