Six Gujarat Congress MLAs likely to join BJP

Ahmedabad: The six congress MLAs who did cross-voting in the presidential election, by giving the vote to Droupadi Murmu – the NDA candidate for the presidential election, are likely to join Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The six congress MLAs are 1. Chirag Kalariya- Jamjodhpur, 2. Sanjay Solanki- Jambusar, 3. Mahesh Patel- Palanpur, 4. Harshad Ribadiya- Visavadar, 5. Lalit Vasoya- Dhoraji, 6. Bhavesh Katara- Zalod.
It is learnt that the six congress MLAs had a secret meeting with state BJP president CR Patil. The Congress leader and Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot will be on a visit to Gujarat on 16th August. The six congress MLAs may possibly join BJP during the same time.
