Sabarkantha: Congress gets another setback in Gujarat before the upcoming assembly elections, as former Prantij MLA Mahendrasinh Baraiya will resign from the party to join the ruling Bhartiya Janta Party(BJP).

According to the reports, Ex MLA Baraiya will resign from the congress party as he was not happy with the congress party for a long time. As per sources, Mahendrasinh Baraiya will join BJP on 22nd August in presence of State BJP president C R Patil.

It is the third big jolt for the north Gujarat congress since earlier Ashwin Kotwal, and Kewal Joshiyara, the son of the late Congress MLA Anil Joshiyara joined the BJP.
