AMC OKays Rs. 359 crore works including 3 new over bridges, swimming pool, community hall, party plot and more

Sabarmati: Amdavad Municipal Corporation (AMC)’s standing committee today in its meeting approved Rs. 359 crore development works.

The standing committee has approved the works of over Rs 22154 lakh for making overbridges at 3 locations in the city.

1. Three lane railway overbridge at road connecting Vejalpur to Anandnagar near Vastrapur station at Ahmedabad Botad railway line level crossing no21 in South-West zone

2. Fourlane railway overbridge at road connecting Torrents power, Makrba to Corporate road, SG highway at Ahmedabad Botad railway line level crossing no 24

3. Fourlane railway overbridge at Theltej to Hebatpur village SP ringroad/science city road at Ahemdabad Viramgam railway line level crossing no 11B in North West zone of Ahmedabad city

The committee has approved the proposal of organizing ‘Mayor Vijaypadma Garba competition 2022’ at the chowk in front of Shri Bhadrakali Mataji Mandir during Navratri by AMC.

The approval is granted to the works of over Rs 933 lakh for purchase of tools for Ahmedabad Fire and Safety emergency services.

The works of the pathology department for making the facility of PT, APTT, Fibrinogen and D-dimer test available at Sheth LG general hospital presented by the Hospital committee are approved.

The approval is granted to the works of over Rs 3035 lakh for 1) making swimming pool with baby swimming pool, ladies/gents shower, changing room, locker, toilet, instructor, inquiry /registration office, other sports related activities and gymnasium in Makraba in Sarkhej ward 2) making community hall in plot near Prernatirth Derasar in Jodhpur ward 3) making community hall and party plot in Maktampura ward.
