Patil continues to attack AAP

Olpad: Gujarat BJP chief CR Patil today once again slammed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) over its alleged association with foreign funded NGO operator Medha Patkar who obstructed Gujarat’s lifeline Narmada project for years.

“When there was a need of water in Kutch and Saurashtra, and the Narmada water was going to be supplied to Kutch and Saurashtra, Medha Patkar agitated for years and created many barriers against the Yojana. The people of Kutch and Saurashtra could not get water for drinking and farming for 15 to 20 years due to the same. She stopped this work by giving threats like “I will die, I will submerge in this dam”. She stopped the prosperity and development of Gujarat by running such agitations from the funds from foreign. The party which gave the ticket to Medha Patkar ( in 2014 Lok Sabha election) is AAP. Those who collect the people who are anti-Gujarat, and try to promote them in Gujarat; I want to ask them why they bring forth such people. You don’t like the prosperity of Gujarat.”

Patil had yesterday while attacking the AAP said it’s a party that comes croaking, on a seasonal basis and then leaves.

He said, “A party comes croaking, on a seasonal basis. Similar to the seasonal fruits, some of them come to be sour, or bitter. The party which rents ponies and sends people in various areas to make contacts, and tries to mislead people, has no place in Gujarat.”
