Sheopur: Prime Minister Narendra Modi while participating in the Self Help Group Sammelan at Karahal, Sheopur, Madhya Pradesh got emotional talking about his mother Hiraba.

On this day, it is generally my endeavor that I go to my mother, touch her feet and seek blessings. Addressing the gathering, PM Modi said, “As CM Shivraj Singh Ji reminded me about my birthday today which I tend to forget. On this day, if time permits, I pay a visit to my mother, touch her feet and seek blessings. Even though, today I could not go to her, lakhs of mothers working hard in tribal areas and villages are blessing me here today.”

“When my mother sees this scene today, she will surely be satisfied that even though her son did not visit her today, lakhs of mothers have blessed him. My mother will be happier today,” said the PM.

He further added that India’s daughters and mothers are my ‘Raksha kawach’ (protective shield)’.
