Sabarmati: Prime Minister Narendrabhai Modi after declaring the 36th National Games open at Motera stadium, reached GMDC ground to join the Vibrant Navratri event which is co-organized by the Tourism Corporation of Gujarat Ltd. The Prime Minister performed Goddess Amba’s aarti along with Governor Acharya Devvrat and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. The Prime Minister later went to the stage and watched Garba. Singer Devang Patel sang a Garba song written by Narendrabhai Modi himself in the past years. Later Shaymal Saumil and Aarti Munshi took over the stage.
