Gandhinagar: Minister of State for Home, Harsh Sanghavi reacting to the statement of Congress leader Shiraj Patil said that a political leader should avoid giving controversial statements about any religion. Shivraj Patil today in his controversial remark stated that Shri Krishna had taught Jihad to Arjun.
Sanghavi said, “I feel very disappointed with such remarks. It is not proper to link the devotees of Bhagwan Ram previously, and now Mahabharat and Bhagavad Gita to such issues. Whether it be Mandirs or Bhagavad Gita; We are always given the education and values to deliver help to the public. As far as I believe, any political leader should keep in mind not to hurt the religious faith of the people of any religion; or following a religion. The leaders, who attempted to hurt the faith of the devotees of Bhagvan Krishna by such kind of speech, must be condemned. I especially condemn it. The statements of such kind were earlier made by AAP leaders, and now Congress leaders. It is their ideology, not only their statement. No matter how hard they try to stop, but they still speak somewhere. It is the time to identify their ideology. ”
