Gujarat CM decides to allot Rs. 97.50 crore additional grant for urgent road resurfacing works

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel has decided to allot additional grant of Rs 97 crore 50 lakh for the urgent road resurfacing works in 62 municipalities damaged due to very heavy rain.
The additional grant will be given to the related regional municipal commissioners of the 62 municipalities for road resurfacing works. It will be allotted under Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Sadak Yojana under Swarnim Jayanti Mukhya Mantri Shaheri Vikas Yojna.
Rs 8 crore 86 lakh will be allotted to 8 municipalities of Ahmedabad, Rs 10 crore to 12 municipalities of Vadodara, Rs 16 crore 30 lakh to 10 municipalities of Surat, Rs 45 crore 39 lakh to 15 municipalities of Rajkot RCM, Rs 15 crore 1 lakh to 13 municipalities of Bhavnagar, Rs 1 crore 86 lakh to 4 municipalities of Gandhinagar. The state government has previously allotted Rs 99.60 crore grant for urgent repairing of roads in 156 municipalities in September for the damages to roads in monsoon. DeshGujarat
