Morbi bridge tragedy: 4 accused on remand, 5 sent to jail

Morbi: The court has approved 4 days remands of 4 accused till 3 pm on 5th November for the Morbi bridge collapse case.
The investigating police officer produced the nine accused in the court with a demand of 9-days remand. The court, after hearing arguments from both parties, approved 4-days remand of 4 accused including the manager of Oreva company. The court has ordered to imprison the remaining 5 accused.
The death toll in the Morbi bridge collapse is reported 135 so far. Morbi city B division police station has booked nine including Oreva company manager, supervisor, contractor doing technical works, ticket window manager, and watchman under the sections of culpable homicide. The investigating police officer produced them in the court with demand of their 9-day remand. The public prosecutor Harshil Panchal demanded ten days remand of the accused in the court.
The court approved the 4-day remands of Oreva company manager Dipak Navinchandra Parekh, Dinesh Mahsukhray Dave, Prakash Laljibhai Parmar, and Devang Prakashbhai Parmar.
