Disturbed Area Act effective in 20 areas of Morbi

Morbi: The disturbed areas act is implemented in 20 areas of Morbi.

The Disturbed Areas Act is implemented in 20 areas of the city under Morbi City A Division Police Station as per a notification of the state government. The 20 areas are: Janaknagar in Vavdi Road, New Janak Nagar, Ravi Park Society, Nandanvan Society, Kubernagar society, Gayatrinagar society, New Gayatri Nagar, Mora Park, Lakhdhirvas under Old Morbi, Baxi Sheri, Jodiya Hanuman Sheri, Buddha Bawa Ni Sheri, Chauhan Sheri, Vishwakarma mandir Vali Sheri, Ramnath Mahadev Mandir sheri, Bhavani chowk, Navdurga chowk, Moti Madhani Sheri, Khatrivad, Swaminarayan mandir sheri and so on.

The revenue department has issued an order that the property transfers can not be done without prior permission of the collector in these 20 areas till 2027. The notification is made official in the district collector’s office.
