Khambhat: Union home minister Amit Shah said while attacking congress that the entire Nehru Gandhi family took the utmost care to see that Sardar Patel’s name is omitted.
He said, “From Jawarhlal Nehru to Sonia Gandhi, the entire Nehru Gandhi family took the utmost care to see that Sardar Patel’s name is omitted but Narendrabhai made such a statue that whether they (Nehru-Gandhi family and Congress) wish or don’t wish entire world visits Sardar Saheb’s statue.” He added that no photos of congress members with the statue of unity can be seen.
'Let Congress candidate release his photo paying tribute at Statue of Unity. He wouldn't go. Ask whether their top leaders have visited? They wouldn't because then they wouldn't get ticket. Modiji not just made statue but also walked on path of Sardar Patel to protect the country' pic.twitter.com/dBiqbfOXdX
