Improve your body mass index and get preferred posting: Vadodara Police
December 16, 2022
Baroda: Vadodara police commissioner Dr. Shamsher Singh has introduced an integrated health management scheme that aims to improve the health of the police jawans.
As per this scheme, the offer of posting as per preference will be given to the police jawans who improve their health. A medical check-up of 4 thousand police employees was done recently in the city. As per their medical report, they were divided into the red zone, yellow zone, and green zone considering their Body Mass Index (BMI).
The scheme is implemented to improve the health of the 200 police jawans falling in the red zone. They will be supposed to control their weight and other illnesses in 90 days. Those police employees whose health improves within 90 days will be offered posting as per their preference. The police jawans whose health doesn’t improve within 3 months will have to stay in the headquarters. DeshGujarat
