CM Bhupendra Patel attends first state level ‘SWAGAT’ after taking the charge

Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Shri Bhupendra Patel has given clear directions to the district collectors and administration officials of the state that,They should develop effective procedures at the district level so that even the common man, does not have to come to the state level to solve his problem or grievances.

Shri Bhupendra Patel gave this direction in reference to the presentations  of the applicants in the first state level ‘SWAGAT’ program of the new government after taking the charge of state government for  the second time in a row as Chief Minister.

Chief Minister said that in the district level offices, the procedure should be effectively established so that the people do not face any inconvenience in their submissions and have faith that the problem will be solved in the required manner. Not only that, he advocated that District Collectors should visit villages and develop public relations.

It is worth mentioning here that, Out of 2961 presentations received during the month of December 2546 were resolved at state-district-taluka and village level.

On the fourth Thursday of every month, state Level ‘SWAGAT’ online Public Grievance Redressal Program is held in Gandhinagar. The Chief Minister himself attends it and listens to the grievances of the citizens and gives suggestions to the concerned system operators for proper redressal of the same.

As many as 9 presentations from citizens of different districts came in front of the Chief Minister in this state level ‘SWAGAT’. He also suggested the concerned district administrators to listen to these complaints and take immediate action and report it to the Chief Minister’s office.

Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Kailashnathan, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Shri Pankaj Joshi, Secretary Smt. Avantika Singh were present in this state level ‘SWAGAT’ held on Thursday, 22nd December.

Additional Chief Secretaries, Secretaries and senior officers of the departments of Home, Energy, Revenue, Irrigation etc. participated in the state level ‘SWAGAT’ along with supplementary details regarding the grievances and requests that were presented to the Chief Minister. DeshGujarat
