Cyber crime police takes down 404 Apps and Websites that were threatening users of data leak

Ahmedabad: Cyber crime police have taken action to close down 404 applications and websites found during the investigation of fraud loan applications and websites that allegedly made threats to viral the stolen data after they made it obscene by morphing after they provided loans to users.
The crime was filed at Ahmedabad cyber crime police station against over 300 instant loan websites and applications. The websites and applications allegedly gave advertisements for giving short-term loans and enticed the users to give short-term loans with a very easy procedure. Such websites and applications allegedly made accounts in the Google play store using the names of various companies to pretend to be genuine and put various applications on it. They allegedly harass the users by charging the amount more than the loan taken by them after offering short-term loans to them.
During the investigation of the crime, another 404 websites and applications were found by the cyber crime police. The cybercrime police declared the list of 404 websites offering investment, part-time jobs, crypto investment, and storing the data of those who take loans. The cybercrime police appealed to the public not to take loans from those applications and websites.
